Learning Network

Made up of practice leaders and senior information management professionals working in children’s services from twenty local authorities across England and Wales, the aim of the Learning Network is to:

  • Understand and evaluate systems and practices on effective use of data and voice information in children’s services
  • Build capacity in three main areas: Defining and measuring need; voice and co-production; data access and analysis
  • Test and refine the learning generated

Members of the Learning Network will meet twice a year and take part in small group workshops and activities to work on cross cutting themes and issues that have emerged from the Information Use Projects. Ideas, innovations, and actions that emerge from the process of collective inquiry will be captured and re-produced into resources to be disseminated nationally.

The Learning Network’s Terms of Reference can be read here together with a list of participating local authorities.
